Hello Bears!
 
Welcome back to another great school year. I hope your summers were spent making memories and experiences with the ones you love the most. I am the proud principal of Las Flores Middle School - Home of the Bears, and I look forward to your continued partnership as we grow our students through the upcoming school year.  
 
I look forward to carrying out this work with all stakeholders of the school community in order to propel our students forward in preparation for high school, and opportunities beyond. Together, we must provide a strong and supportive academic environment that goes hand-in-hand with an equal amount of social and emotional support. Our student-centered focus will drive our work, so that innovative and collaborative practices support our students during their time here. 
 
The Bear teachers and staff are committed to collaborating with you to support all of our students.  I hope you will join us so that, together, we exemplify being a community that fosters academic growth, social-emotional and physical well-being, and the civic virtue of all students.

Dear Students and Parents:
Welcome to Las Flores Middle School located in the beautiful community of Las Flores, California.  Our goal is to promote the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students and to help them become caring and productive members of the community. Students who attend Las Flores are expected to display behavior and academic performance that will help us to maintain our outstanding reputation.
 
Students, you will be provided an agenda to assist you in keeping track of your class assignments and other important information.  You will be prompted by your teachers to write down your assignments and homework into this agenda.  Parents, you are encouraged to review the assignments recorded in this book in an effort to assist your child in having a successful year here at Las Flores Middle School.
 
In closing, all of us welcome you to our school and we look forward to working with you during the school year.
